Zamzar is a free web application for converting files. The free version allows you to convert files up to 100mb with up to 5 concurrent conversions.

     Step1: Click on Choose a file and browse your hard drive to the file you want to convert.
     Step 2: Choose the file format to convert to.
     Step 3: Enter your email address.
     Step 4: Click on Convert

After a few minutes go to your email and click on the download link in the email from Zamzar.

Another great Zamzar tool:

Zamzar has is the ability to download video from TeacherTube and YouTube. Zamzar will convert the file to a different file format you can use and show on your laptop.

To convert video files with Zamzar you'll need a special convert tool:


     1. Click on tools at the top of Zamzar's web-site.
     2. Make sure your "Bookmarks Bar" is visible by choosing "Show Bookmarks Bar" under the "View" menu of your Safari browser.
     3.Simply drag the button below onto your "Bookmarks Bar"

How to use the Convert it! Tool:

     1. Navigate to the video you want to downlaod on TeacherTube.
     2. Click on the Convert it! Tool on your "Bookmarks Bar"
     3. Click on the convert it button with Zamzar found in the TeacherTube window.


     4. Step 1: Choose the file format to convert to.
         Step 2: Enter your email address.
         Step 3: Click on convert


After a few minutes go to your email and click on the download link in the email from Zamzar.
