Scavenger Hunt: What Great Looks Like

What does "Great" Look Like? During this session, you will be completing a scavenger hunt activity and visiting "Great" educational resoures and classroom websites. As you complete the activity, think about your classroom and how ideas from these resources and classroom websites could improve your students' success. You will be sharing your thoughts at the end of the activity in the ETA forum.

Beginning the Scavenger Hunt:

Read through all of these instructions before beginning the Scavenger Hunt activity. If you have any questions, plese come back to this page to review the instructions.

  ·  Please begin the activity, Scavenger Hunt: What "Great" Looks Like?
  ·  Once at the activity website, read the instructions.
  ·  Click on "Click Here To Begin."
  ·  You will be using the internet links on the page to answer the scavenger hunt questions.

Viewing Internet Links - To view internet links which are the "Great" resources and classroom websites in the scavenger hunt, follow these steps:

  ·  Click on the small magnifying glass in front of the link you want to see.
  ·  A new window will open on top of the scavenger hunt.
  ·  Complete the question instructions and find the correct answer.

Entering Your Answer - Follow these instructions to enter your answers for the scavenger hunt:

  ·  After you have clicked on the small magnifying glass and viewed the site referred to in the question, note your answer.
  ·  In the box under the question, enter your answer.
  ·  Please do not use complete sentences for your answer. Just the answer itself is necessary.

Last 15 minutes of session: Question #15 - Regardless of how many questions you have answered, all session participants will answer Question #15 during the last 15 minutes of the session. Please follow these guidelines for Question #15:

  ·  Read the instructions to the question carefully.
  ·  Make a note of the username and password.
  ·  After you have entered your answer in the forum, return to Question #15 and type "Yes" in the box.
